Our Story

When smoked craft cocktails hit the scene, everyone was ooo'ed and awed by their presentation and taste. We noticed in these up-charged craft cocktails the smoked flavor only lasts for the first few sips of the cocktail. Erik loved the flavor of smoking his Old Fashioned but wanted the flavor for the whole cocktail. In 2020, Erik started experimenting at home with his own concoction on his smoker to enjoy the smoked flavor in every sip of his cocktail.

Fast forward a few years: in 2022, Erik & Rachel sold everything on the Gulf Coast of Florida and transitioned to full-time RV living to simplify their lives and capture more time freedom. Left their corporate careers and are now traveling bartenders exploring the world! As bartenders in high-volume atmospheres, smoking cocktails is not conducive.

Rachel, who has been an entrepreneur for decades, decided “we need to bring Erik’s smoked concoction to market and solve a pain point for bartenders while providing the customer a top-quality tasting cocktail in every sip." So, here we are in 2024 launching our Copper’s Smoked Simple Syrup, named after our late beloved hound, Copper, the best dog ever! 

We are so very grateful to our children, family, friends, and mentors throughout this new venture and look forward to adding new products to our product line.
